FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in hand-held sanders with endless abrasive belts. Machine comprises main case with built-in motor, drive and drive pulleys arranged at main case bottom, and endless abrasive belt wound between two pulleys. Opening is arranged at main case section, nearby abrasive belt, to effect visual control belt edge. Part of main case one side surface, nearby abrasive belt, is exposed. Aforesaid opening is made in main case part located on the side opposite said exposed side surface.
EFFECT: better visual control, higher efficiency, longer life.
