FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to chemistry. The hydrogen generator includes a water evaporation unit 7 into which crude gas and water are fed, a reforming catalyst layer 9 into which a gas mixture from the water evaporation unit 7 is fed, a burner 4, a flow channel 16 for combustion exhaust gas, which is provided on the inner side of the water evaporation unit 7, a conversion catalyst layer 10 which is placed on the inner side of the water evaporation unit 7 to which the reformed gas is fed. The water evaporation unit 7 includes double cylinders 100 and 101 and a spiral round rod pressed between cylinders 100 and 101. The bottom part of the water evaporation unit is such that in the value of heat exchange between the flow channel for combustion exhaust gas and the water evaporation unit, the value of heat exchange between the flow channel for combustion exhaust gas and the bottom part of the water evaporation unit is higher than the value of heat exchange between the flow channel for combustion heat exchange and part of the water evaporation unit except the bottom part thereof. The energy source with a fuel cell includes said hydrogen generator.
EFFECT: inventions provide stable operation of the generator and energy source.
