FIELD: iron and steel industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of ferrous metallurgy, namely to the cast iron makeup. It can be used for manufacturing of thermal generating units parts. The cast iron contains, % w/w: carbon 2.8-3.2; silicon 0.03-0.07; manganese - 0.03-0.07; molybdenum 2.2-2.6; copper 0.4-0.5; tantalum 0.17-0.23; beryllium 0.1-0.15; zirconium 0.1-0.15; vanadium 0.2-0.3; silver 0.001-0.0014; wolfram 0.1-0.2; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: high heat resistance of cast iron.
