SUBSTANCE: collector (1) of a spiral type for a fan comprises a jacket that forms a body for a fan impeller (2), besides, the jacket comprises a nozzle (6), which creates a fan suction hole (3), connection facilities of engaging type arranged on the suction nozzle (6) and so that they interact with appropriate counter-facilities of connection, which are arranged on a channel (8), designed for suction of air-like gases sucked-in by the fan, axial retention facilities between connection facilities of engaging type and counter-facilities of connection, to retain the collector (1) in respect to the channel (8) at least in axial direction of mutual connection, where axial retaining facilities comprise at least one retention element (10), which is provided in the suction hole (3) of the collector (1), besides, at least one retention element (10) is arranged as capable of elastic deformation between the first position, in which the collector (1) is free for engaging connection in respect to the appropriate structure of the channel (8), and the second position, in which the element (10) rests against the channel structure, preventing disengagement of the collector (1) and the channel structure at least in axial direction, which is opposite to the mutual engagement direction.
EFFECT: possibility to quickly connect a collector with an appropriate exhaust air channel frame when assembling a collector.
