SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum cleaners. A vacuum cleaner is proposed, comprising an electric fan (28) which sucks air into the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner, and a dust bag (31) which collects dust which is sucked into the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner. The main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner is provided with a vacuum cleaner suction pipe (41) and the element (35) for switching output. The suction pipe (41) is movable between a first position in which the dust which is sucked into the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner is accumulated in the dust bag (31) when the vacuum cleaner is in the dust collecting mode, and a second position in which the dust collecting operation is stopped, when the vacuum cleaner is in the mode of deflation. The element (35) for switching output can be moved between the first position of release, in which the exhaust air that is discharged from the electric fan (28) is directed towards the outlet (19) for the air of the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner in the dust collecting mode, and the second release position, in which the exhaust air that is discharged from the electric fan (28) is directed from the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner as the blowing off air in the deflation mode. The vacuum cleaner also has a channel (48) for inlet of the ambient air. The channel (48) for inlet of the ambient air shuts off the ambient air supply into the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner in the mode of dust collection and supplies the ambient air into the main housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner bypassing the dust bag (31) in the deflation mode.
