SUBSTANCE: spiral-type collector is designed to form a housing of a radial-flow impeller of the ventilator, has a cross-section of feed with control of the feed flow, which is essentially perpendicular to the rotation axis of the impeller, and has at least a receiving cross-section which is coaxial to this axis of rotation. The collector comprises the first and second part of the collector that are made capable of being connected with each other on the connection profile, and also the cross-section of feed is formed in the first part of the collector while the impeller is maintained rotatable on the second part of the collector. Also, the cross-section of feed is made as one unit in the first part of the collector and passes in the axial direction, at least through the part towards the feed flow. Then a projection of the connecting profile forms a broken line in a plane which is parallel to the flow direction and which passes through the axis of rotation of the impeller. Starting from the cross-section of feed the line includes at least the first part that passes in a transverse direction relative to the axis of the impeller to the place located next to its axis, and at least the second part which passes from the axis of the impeller and in a transverse direction with respect to it. Also, the second part is located at a distance from the first part towards the receiving cross section so that the first and second part of the collector can be mutually connected/disconnected along this profile by means of a main relative movement performed essentially in the axial direction of the feed flow even when the impeller is fixed for support on the second part of the collector.

EFFECT: ability to connect and disconnect parts of the collector easily and quickly in order to provide access to the electric motor which simplifies assembling and disassembling.
