FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: calorimeter consists of three successive interfaced layers: dry granular material, receiver and calorimetric substance, lying in the volume of a cylindrical cup whose inside is coated with heat- and water-proofing layer. The dry granular material is put into a receiver made from heat-conducting material which is closed on top by a cover whose inside is coated with a heat- and water-proofing layer. Recording of the temperature state of the dry granular material, the receiver and calorimetric substance from the moment of determining heat capacity is carried out using a system of thermal converters.

EFFECT: simple design the device and high accuracy of measuring volumetric heat capacity of dry granular materials.
