FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for protecting information stored on a digital USB flash drive from unauthorised access has a frame to whose top side are attached two inductors whose central axes perpendicularly cross the longitudinal axis of the frame. An inductor is attached to the bottom side of the frame such that its central axis lies in the middle between the central axes of oppositely lying inductors. Movable armatures and pins lie coaxial to each of the inductors. Inside the frame, there are flat springs which provide elastic compression from the top and bottom sides of the frame to its longitudinal axis. The housing of the apparatus accommodates the frame and an electronic unit, having series-connected self-contained dc voltage source, dc-to-ac voltage converter, step-up transformer, rectifier and capacitor storage, to which series-connected inductors are connected through an electronic switch.

EFFECT: high efficiency of protecting information if there is risk of leakage.
