SUBSTANCE: method includes stages, at which the following is carried out: surface section is detected on the basis of 3D digital data, besides, the surface section has at least one point, where the first and second normal curves cross, besides, both have initial curve value above zero or both have initial curve value below zero, besides, the second normal curve have curve value, which is closer to zero, compared to the curve value of the first normal curve; the second normal curve is modified in the digital form so that it has the modified curve value, which is closer to zero that its initial curve value, besides, as a result of this modification, the surface section is exposed to digital deformation, so that a deformed surface section is created, at the same time the extent of deformation of the deformed surface section relative to the detected area of the surface is related to the swelling value.
EFFECT: higher accuracy in detection of swelling of a surface of an inner human body or animal body organ based on 3D digital data.
