SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cosmetics and concerns a composition containing 50 wt % or less of a Vaseline-like compound representing an unsaturated polyol ester prepared by an exchange reaction and/or a partially or completely hydrated unsaturated polyol ester prepared by an exchange reaction specified in a group consisting of vegetable oil, algae oil or animal fat, and having an iodine value 120 or less, a pour point 37.8°C to 60.0°°C, conic penetration at 25°C 100 dmm to 300 dmm, a drop melting point 37.8°C to 65.6°C, viscosity at 210° F approximately 100 SUS or less. The invention also discloses an emulsion with its dispersion form representing said unsaturated polyol ester prepared by an exchange reaction and/or partially or completely hydrated unsaturated polyol ester prepared by an exchange reaction, as well as a personal hygiene product containing said emulsion.
EFFECT: invention provides the Vaseline-like compositions which may be used as oil-based Vaseline substitutes.
