FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural materials and can be used to make articles from expanded-clay concrete in both civil and industrial construction. The expanded-clay concrete structural material contains claydite gravel with filler made from inert materials and a composite binder in form of ethynol enamel and a plasticiser. Ethynol lacquer is used in amount of 1 pts.wt; the filler used is expanded-clay dust - 0.4 pts.wt and additionally pearlite powder, silver foundry graphite, flue ash from thermal power stations - up to 0.2 pts.wt of the amount of ethynol lacquer; the plasticiser used is latex SKS-65 in amount of 0.05 pts.wt, with content of ethynol enamel of said composition in the expanded-clay concrete of 150-180 kg/m3 and claydite gravel - 120 kg/m3.
EFFECT: high quality of structural material owing to lower water absorption, coefficient of heat conductivity and higher water impermeability.
