FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of gluing surfaces involves natural solidification of an adhesive layer from an ethynol varnish-based composition at ambient temperature. The composition used when applying the adhesive layer is based on ethynol varnish and contains ethynol varnish, flue ash and divinyl styrene latex. After applying the adhesive layer on the surface to be glued, the adhesive layer with a glued ceramic tile is exposed to intense infrared radiation flux for 60-120 minutes. Before gluing the protective element, for example a tile, the applied open adhesive layer can first be exposed to intense UV radiation for 15 minutes, followed by gluing the tile and exposure to infrared radiation for 30-60 minutes.
EFFECT: method cuts the duration of solidification of an ethynol varnish-based adhesive layer in a wide temperature range.
