FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: electric cavitation heating of liquid is performed by supplying the liquid to working chamber, formation in it of vortex liquid flow and providing the cavitation mode of vortex flow at resonant amplification of mechanical oscillations occurring in that flow, with further removal of heated liquid to the consumer; at that, when the liquid is supplied to working chamber, high-speed expanding liquid jet is created, in working chamber there provided is simultaneous wide-band resonant amplification of all free frequencies of vortex liquid flow, including vortex liquid oscillations and ultrasonic waves of cavitation noise of imploded bubbles, which change their frequency, and inner volume of working chamber is pierced with direct and/or alternating electric field.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of liquid heating technology, simpler device design and reduction of operating costs at the observance of environmental and other safety requirements.
