SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a device for processing seismic data, having a group of seismic signal sources and receivers, which generate a super-collection of traces. The device also has a signal processor for determining the Radon transform metric relative the set of seismic wavefront parameters. The transform defines summation of amplitudes of seismic waves along trajectories defined by the wavefront parameters. The processor is configured to apply the Randon transform to a first collection of traces, thereby converting it into a multidimensional data array which is defined as a function of at least two of the wavefront parameters, as well as process the multidimensional data array to obtain a second collection of traces having higher imaging quality than the first collection, as well as processing the second collection of traces to generate a seismic image of subsurface structures.
EFFECT: high quality of seismic imaging of subsurface structures.
