FIELD: 4D seismic monitoring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of 4D seismic monitoring and can be used to determine the boundaries of the fractured zone, which is formed in the near-wellbore space as a result of injection of water and/or drilling/technical waste. A computer-implemented method for determining the boundaries of a fractured zone is claimed, according to which the study area around the well perforation zone is selected; perform 4D temporary processing on the base and control surveys in the selected study area; migration is carried out along the total angle of reflection with the formation of seismograms using the generated depth-velocity model in the area of inclination angles according to the base and control surveys. Next, seismograms of the difference between the base and control surveys are determined; the scattered component is isolated from the seismograms of the difference between the base and control surveys, containing the mirror component, and a 4D cube of the wave field of the scattered component is formed. Additional attributes are determined, including at least intensity, sample and energy, from the generated 4D cube of the wave field of the scattered component, and the boundaries of the fractured zone in 3D space are determined based on the analysis of the boundary values of the seismic attributes and the scattered component.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and information content of determining the real dimensions of the fractured zone.
