SUBSTANCE: storage medium cartridge has a cartridge housing; storage medium lying inside the cartridge housing; a petalled element configured to move between a write-enable position, wherein information can be written to the storage medium, and a write-disable position, wherein information cannot be written, and includes an elastic cantilever which elastically comes into contact with the cartridge housing; a guide section which is made on the cartridge housing and includes a first guide surface which gradually increases the elastic force on the elastic cantilever in proportion to displacement of the petalled element between the write-enable position and the write-disable position, and a second guide surface which gradually reduces the elastic force on the elastic cantilever. The first guide surface and the second guide surface are continuous and there is a camber between them having an essentially triangular plan view.

EFFECT: high reliability of the mechanism of preventing accidental deletion of information.
