FIELD: engineering of cartridge for disk, meant for placing a disk inside, being a carrier of record/information reproduction, and for protecting its working surface from pollutions, such as dust and fingerprints.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge for disk has body, meant for placing a disk therein and having aperture, made on one of surfaces of body, so that recording/reproducing device has access to working surface of disk, and a slit, made in another surface of body to be opened outwardly, a curtain mounted in body for opening/closing aperture. Disk holder, positioned on side wall of slit and allowing upward and downward movement and providing pressure on external surface of disk and overlapping of gap between external circular surface of disk and internal surface of slit during descent of disk holder. Curtain drive mechanism is meant for moving curtain so that aperture is closed during descent of disk.
EFFECT: increased efficiency.
