FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method assumes supplying AC voltage with frequency f to an inductance with a wire length equal to a half of an AC voltage wave length, inducing a magnetic induction electromotive force in control coils inductively joined with the specified inductance, alternate removal of positive and negative pulses from each of eight control coils with their subsequent supply to a control input of a thyristor, from the outlet of which harmonic oscillations arrive to a reactive load. The device implementing frequency transformation of electromagnetic signals includes a rectifier, an inductance coil, eight control coils, a thyristor and a reactive load representing an oscillating circuit. At the same time control coils may move along the inductance axis.
EFFECT: expanded range of produced frequencies.
