FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the decomposition of water into oxygen and hydrogen and a device for its implementation. Method is carried out by affecting the water flowing through the interelectrode cavities, electric and magnetic fields. In this case, a constant pulsed electric field is supplied to coaxially arranged tubular insulated hydrogen electrodes of negative potential and to insulated oxygen electrodes of positive potential, separated by interelectrode cavities having inlet and outlet water holes, the volumes of which are connected to the volumes of hydrogen and oxygen electrodes through gas holes. In this connection, the water flowing between the electrodes under the action of electric and magnetic fields is decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen ions, hydrogen ions through the holes of the hydrogen electrode are attracted by a negative static field formed by a negative conductive hydrogen insulated surface, inside the hydrogen electrode, similarly, oxygen ions through the holes of the oxygen electrode are attracted by a positive static field formed by a positive insulated conductive surface, into the oxygen electrode, in which hydrogen and oxygen ions are neutralized, respectively, by negative and positive neutralization surfaces and in the form of atoms go out through each of their openings to further use.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the performance of the decomposition of water by increasing the energy of the electric and magnetic fields.
