SUBSTANCE: invention relates to damaging electrically conducting bodies by electromagnetic field and can be used for destruction of pests. Method of damaging current-conducting targets involves providing interaction of an inductance coil with four levels of series-connected coils. Device of damaging current-conducting targets with a high-frequency input comprises an inductance coil. Inductance coil is connected to an alternating voltage source. Inductance coil is made in the form of a circle and includes four levels of coils. Coils are magnetically connected with the inductance coil, are connected in series and have series changing directions windings. Coils of the first and the second levels are fixed. Coils of the third and the fourth levels are made with the possibility of simultaneous movement along the axis of inductance.

EFFECT: provided is the possibility of destruction of electrically conducting bodies.
