FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to vertebrology, and can be applied in correction of S-shaped idiopathic scoliosis in children. Essence of method lies in establishment of metal construction from two sides of spine from dorsal access along entire length of S-shaped idiopathic scoliosis. Installation of transpedicular support screws of metal construction is performed into each vertebra. Simultaneously rods are laid from two sides of S-shaped idiopathic scoliosis with respect to spine axis with further rotation of left rod of metal construction on 90 degrees leftward with possibility of achieving true derotation of lumbar part. In thoracic part on the top of deformity installed are remote bars with fixation on support elements of metal construction and possibility of rotating right rod on 90 degrees rightward with further segmental correction of vertebrae.

EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to achieve anatomically proper correction of S-shaped idiopathic scoliosis with value up to 80 degrees and maximally possible correction of S-shaped idiopathic scoliosis with value more than 80 degrees.
