FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of depositing hard coatings with porosity of not more than 16.0 vol. % in terms of total volume thereof, based on mechanical methods using compressed air which is fed with flow coefficient from 10 to 100, hydraulically setting coating materials are deposited, said materials containing one or more polymer protective colloids with cationic charges and one or more polymers based on vinyl laurate, 1-methylvinyl acetate, vinyl pivalate, a VeoVa9® or VeoVa10® product (Shell brand names), methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate, ethyl methacrylate, propyl acrylate, propyl methacrylate, n-butyl acrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate, norbornyl acrylate, ethylene, propylene, 1,3-butadiene, styrene, vinyl toluene or vinyl chloride.
EFFECT: applying coatings with reduced rebound of coating material from the base and, consequently, reducing the amount of wastes and simultaneously obtaining hard coatings whose properties are on par with those of hard coatings obtained using mechanical methods using compressed air fed with flow coefficient from 144 to 240.
