FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: protective unit of pressure discharge comprises a sleeve covering a high-discharge pipeline and attached at one or both ends of the pipeline to a connection device. The sleeve is fixed to the device (devices) of connection with a ring having protruding sections providing for passage of the fluid medium breaking out from the pipeline in the area of a break or a pin hole, so that it flows to the ends of the pipeline, indicating a fault of the pipeline to a user.
EFFECT: sleeve reduces speed of a fluid medium, while a channel supported with a ring prevents pressure rise inside a sleeve.
