FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: parts of magnetic conductor in induction accelerating resistor are made as layers, from one to several layers, provided with ruled surfaces made from rectilinear generators (flat surface, cylindrical surface, one-sheeted hyperboloid), winding conductors are fastened by insulators above both sides of external surfaces of magnetic conductor parallel to these rectilinear generators. In addition it is reasonable to position rectilinear generators of magnetic conductor parts towards gravity during resistor mounting. Such design of induction resistor, being that simple, allows to use two surfaces of magnetic conductor instead of one surface, to keep the required distance between conductors and surfaces.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of induction resistor, more effective use of magnetic conductor surfaces, reduction of insulators for conductors fastening, better conditions for cooling of magnetic conductor parts and windings.
