FIELD: electrical engineering; electromagnetic transformers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transformer characterized in reduced number of winding turns and enhanced coupling coefficient of winding due to eliminating short-out of operating magnetic flux and in improved magnetic circuit characteristics due to reducing number of equivalent magnetic gaps and demagnetization by perpendicular magnetic field has two systems formed by insulated magnetic circuit and concentrically disposed primary and secondary windings, each being wound separately. One of systems is formed by magnetic circuit made of ferromagnetic material of low electric conductivity that mounts secondary winding of ferromagnetic material of high electric conductivity. Other system has primary winding made of non-ferromagnetic material of high electric conductivity which is wound on secondary winding.
EFFECT: reduced size, mass, and energy loss in windings and magnetic circuit.
