FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heterogeneous catalytic synthesis of chemical compounds with static beds of catalyst for synthesis gas flow to pass through. Wall structure 8. 9. 50 for catalyst beds in synthesis reactors comprises, at least, one filler wall 14 for catalyst bed 7 in direct contact therewith and has multiple gas-permeable sections 17 and multiple gastight sections 19, 54, 55. Every gastight section 17 has multiple cutouts 18, 82, 53, 60, 70 sized to allow passage of synthesis gases but to prohibit catalyst passage. Filler wall 14 of the side in direct contact with catalyst has cutouts 18, 52, 53, 60, 70, more elongated in lengthwise direction than those of filler wall opposite side. Said cutouts may be milled by disc cutter so that filler wall side with longer cutouts corresponds to disc cutter entry side while opposite filler wall corresponds to disc cutter exit.
EFFECT: system of walls for catalyst bed, permeable for synthesis gas.
