FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: two parallel saw cuts are made at equal distance from central axis of round lumber 1 to produce two-edges cant 2 and two segments 3. The latter are cut along two parallel planes to make three-edged variable cross-section lumber and strips. Finished products are quality- and geometry-graded. Two-edged cant is cut in two planes extending at equal distance from cant curvilinear generating surfaces at top and but ends to produce three-edged decorative lumber. Parallel surfaces of said lumber feature equal height. Three-edged cant is cut in plane extending at equal distance from cant curvilinear generating surfaces at top and but ends to produce three-edged decorative lumber. Said curved generating surface is barked, machined and processed to make fire-and-bio-protection coating. Thrust ledges and location slots are made on opposite parallel surfaces. Produced decorative lumber articles are bonded to base by face opposite to curvilinear generating surface. Warmth-keeping jacket is laid between butt parallel surfaces.
EFFECT: higher quality and increased yield.
