SUBSTANCE: invention relates to moulded polymer containers. Moulded container grip sections 22 comprise elastomer layer 20a, 20b wit friction factor exceeding that of container surface. Note here that entire section of grip incorporates said elastomer layer located solely therein with container front and rear surface being elastomer-free. Said container is formed by preform 10 with elastomer layer 20a, 20b of definite shape and sixe to provide elastomer on container grip area. Note here that blow mould is provided with container and grip section negatives on mould inner surface while preform is oriented in mould so that preform elastomer layer is located adjacent to grip section negative on mould inner surface.
EFFECT: molded containers with improved grip.
