FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: illumination device has light sources in form of light-emitting diodes mounted on a heat-removing base and provided with separate reflectors. Each reflector has a shape similar to the shape of a tetrahedral frustum of a pyramid in whose smaller base a light-emitting diode is mounted. Each reflector is provided with mating elements in form of protrusions on two sides of the larger base of the pyramid and grooves reciprocating the protrusions, made on the other two sides, which enable 'dovetail' connection of the reflectors.
EFFECT: high manufacturability of the device, broader structural capabilities of forming a light spot of the illumination device.
