SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises generating light flux and increasing its intensity by varying light beam shape with help of hollow truncated pyramid-like wave guide with larger base representing n-polygon with n ≥ 4, light diode being arranged nearby its smaller base. Proposed device comprises light diode modules arranged at Y, with 0 < Y ≤ 120. Said module comprises cluster of light diodes, each provided with hollow truncated pyramid-like wave guide with larger base representing n-polygon with n ≥ 4, light diode being arranged nearby its smaller base to generate light flux at hollow wave guide output a with angular size of 85 ≤ α ≤ 60.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, better illumination of roads.
