SUBSTANCE: in a preferable version of realisation a drying device comprises transportation facilities to transport dried material along a substantially vertical channel, stretching between the upper end of the transportation facility, where the material is accepted, and the lower end of the transportation facility, where the material is released; and guide facilities to direct heated drying gas along a vertical channel to remove moisture from material during material transportation along the vertical channel, besides, guide facilities comprise a supply channel device for use in supply of drying gas into the transportation facility at one side of the vertical channel, and an outlet channel facility to discharge drying gas from the transportation facility on the other side of the vertical channel, at the same time transportation facilities comprise the first and second continuous belts, besides, the first belt comprises a substantially vertical first branch, which forms one side of the vertical channel, and the second belt comprises a substantially vertical second branch, substantially parallel to the first vertical branch, which forms the other side of the vertical channel, at the same each belt carries multiple scrapers, which serve to transport dried material along the vertical channel, at the same time the first and second continuous belts are synchronised so that scrapers move through the vertical channel in pairs, besides, each pair of scrapers is formed by a scraper of the first continuous belt and a scraper of the second continuous belt, arranged side-by-side so that the vertical passage is substantially blocked by each pair of scrapers, thus limiting displacement of material along the vertical channel faster than scrapers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to dry fuel material.
