FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of excess atomisation from air saturated with excess atomisation of coat application plants and can be used in glazing plants. In compliance with this invention, said excess atomisation is trapped by airflow and directed to electrostatic separator. In said separator at least major part of solids from excess atomisation precipitates in separation area of at least one separation surface. Separation means are composed of continuous fabric web arranged at least partially along separation area of at least one separation surface. In operation of separator, material web in at least separation area and at least one separation surface is electrically conducting.
EFFECT: power savings, efficient air cleaning, lower labour input and higher noise immunity.
