FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention aims at screening study of the effectiveness of adequacy of the conducted therapy in duodenal ulcer in children. Saliva is collected on an empty stomach. The enzyme ornithine decarboxylase is evaluated. The analysis is repeated during the therapy. If observing dynamic increase of the value, the therapy is considered to adequate.
EFFECT: method enables reducing injuries accompanying evaluating the clinical effectiveness in duodenal ulcer in children.
