BREATHING SYSTEM ADAPTER AND PROXIMAL AEROSOL DELIVERY SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61M11/00

Abstract RU 2463084 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine. An adapter and a system are applicable for active agent delivery to a patient in the form of an aerosol assisted by positive pressure ventilation. The adapter comprises an aerosol channel having an aerosol outlet and a patient's interface opening and controlling an aerosol passage from the aerosol outlet to the patient's interface opening and therefrom; and a respiratory gas channel hydrodynamically connected with the aerosol channel and having a gas inlet and a gas outlet and controlling a respiratory gas passage from the gas inlet to the gas outlet therefrom with respiratory gas flow at least partially deviated from the aerosol flow and at least partially circulating the aerosol flow.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables faster aerosol flow and respiratory flow separation with maintaining optimal ventilation.
