FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to prints for obtaining individual images. A method of manufacturing a fractal monotype is an application of paint to a smooth surface and the subsequent imposition of paper on the paint and printing the imprint. The imprint is copied onto transparency film at 1:1 and the film together with the imprint copy are imposed on the imprint original so that the contours of the images on the original and on the film are shifted relative to each other. The imprint original with the copy of the film overlaid on it is exposed by a source of electromagnetic radiation.
EFFECT: invention enables to make additions to the monotype, without risk to disturb a fractal pattern and obtain the 3D image.
