SAFETY ELEMENT WITH SEVERAL STRUCTURES HAVING OPTICALLY VARIABLE PARAMETERS Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC B42D15/00

Abstract RU 2463169 C2

FIELD: printing.

SUBSTANCE: application describes a safety element with a structure having optically variable parameters, formed with printed structure. The first printed structure consists of the first printed elements and is combined with coating contrasting with the surface of the safety element so that at least some parts of the coating can be seen by looking at the safety element at an angle lying in the first range of angles of view, but at least partially hidden at viewing it at an angle within the second range of angles of view. When tilting the safety element to and fro about the first axis, the first tilt-effect is observed. The structure having optically variable parameters is formed with at least one-half printed structure, which is located within the first printed structure and creates in addition to the first tilt-effect the second tilt-effect and which is integrated in the first printed elements through partial change of their geometry or consists of second printed elements, each of which abuts at a certain angle to the side surface of the first printed elements.

EFFECT: proposed safety element provides increased protection against counterfeiting.
