FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protected polygraphy and relates to protected information carrier with optically variable effect and method of its production. Carrier is made on a paper, polymer or combined basis. Carrier contains a zone with a regular and/or irregular point raster structure. Three-dimensional raster is made on top of raster structure in form of embossed linear spatial structure of lattice type and / or concentric and / or honeycomb spatial structure. Points of printed raster are located on side faces, bottoms or white space elements of three-dimensional structure, regardless of positioning of printed and three-dimensional images. As a result, an image is obtained on the carrier, which has form of intersecting linear structures. When viewed at an angle of 90 degrees from plane of carrier, protective element is seen as uniform field of integral color of substrate paints, and when observing carrier at an acute angle, change in color of element to integral one is observed, mixture of two colors of substrate, and when carrier is rotated, change of color of protective element is observed.
EFFECT: invention provides a stable optically variable effect at any angle of rotation of the carrier and increased stability of protected information element to external influences.
