FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for production of an additive to lubricant oils containing zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate (Zn-DADTP). In the proposed method phosphorus pentasulfide interacts with alcohol of the general formula ROH, where R - alkyl radical C3-C10, or a mixture of these alcohols at the temperature of 50-80°C in a flow of an inert gas, with subsequent addition of zinc oxide and mineral oil, with a difference in the fact that at the stage of Zn-DADTP carboxylic acid C8-C24 is added in the amount of 1-10 wt %, and upon completion of the reaction triphenylphosphite is added in the amount of 1-10 wt%, at the same time mineral oil is added in the amount of 1-40 wt%.
EFFECT: proposed method makes it possible to improve hydrolytic stability of additives containing Zn-DADTP to preserve operating characteristics of lubricant oils under long-term operation in high-moisture conditions.
