FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: charging device for projectiles from a hydride of metals with high extent of passivation of berillium, aluminium, titanium and their alloys comprises a stabilised source of electric current, wires, an electrolytic cell and charges based on the hydride of berillium, aluminium or titanium and their alloys. The electrolytic cell contains electrolyte from distilled water and up to 5% of Na2SO4 salt, which fully covers two separate charges without fairings with free penetration of electrolyte into the metal hydride structure. One charge is connected to a cathode, and the other one - to an anode.
EFFECT: simplified process of projectile charging.
