FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: ultra-wideband measuring capacitance transducer of pulse electric fields is designed as composed of two parallel and coaxial electroconductive discs with the space between them filled with a dielectric material with relative electric permittivity no less than that of the environment. The first electroconductive disc (vibrator) is connected to the central core while the second electroconductive disc (balance) is connected to the armature of the coaxial output cable ending in a radio frequency connector. Notably, the vibrator disc excited by an external electric field is designed in the form of a sequence of concentric electroconductive ring elements converging towards the central disc element and connected to each other and to the central disc element with the help of resistors uniformly arranged within the inter-ring spacings. The vibrator ring elements are divided into equal sectors with radial splits stretching from the central disc element towards the vibrator outer edge, the ring segments of a sector connected to each other and to the vibrator central disc element with the help of resistors arranged along the sector central axis.
EFFECT: enhanced broadbandness of the measuring transducer.
