FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method employs a magnetic measuring apparatus in form of two identical orthogonal pairs of loops which are in form of inductance coils with the same number of windings and anti-parallel connection of windings in each pair. The first loop of the pair has a characteristic double bend at the centre at right angles, said bend being in form of a narrow step which forms three surfaces penetrated by magnetic flux, and the second loop of the pair is flat and has one surface. The investigated three-dimensional space with the body inside is a collection of discrete sections.
EFFECT: measurement of the vector function of magnetic flux density of a time-periodic magnetic field at any points of the investigated space for arbitrarily chosen moments in time without mechanical penetration of the body.
