SUBSTANCE: system and method of obtaining web service interfaces from metadata forms and tables are disclosed. The method employs a detection subsystem to obtain services which are available on an application server, finds metadata service descriptions on the application server and uses the detected services and metadata descriptions to form web service interfaces so that the service is accessible through the web service description language.

EFFECT: adaptation of computer applications for operation in different environments.
