FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises system of discharging and afterburning cupola-furnace off gases, heating air in recuperator, feeding portion of heated air via lance into cupola, and feeding said portion into combustion chamber. It differs from known procedures in that flue gases from cupola, natural gas and air are separately fed into primary combustion chamber to be combusted therein. Said chamber is arranged at recuperator inlet to up off gas temperature. Separator is arranged at cupola wind escape from recuperator to feed ¾ of heated air into lance box and ¼ of heated air is fed into extra combustion chamber to combust natural gas and air. Note here that off gases with high temperature are fed into lance box to be mixed with main flow of heated air to up wind temperature.

EFFECT: stable temperature increase of hot wind and cast iron, reduced emissions into atmosphere and higher efficiency.
