FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotary mass exchange apparatus intended for processes complicated by chemical conversions in both liquid-solid and liquid-liquid systems and may be used in chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnical industries, etc. Proposed apparatus comprises case with cover, drive shaft with rotor, set of concentric rotor and stator cylinders with radial channels, reagent feed means, cylindrical reagent intake means secured in cover, and reaction product discharge means. Rotor is fixed directly on shaft and made up of toroidal part and truncated cone rigidly attached thereto by its larger diameter open face. Rotor cover is partially recessed inside rotor and shaped so that its top horizontal part stays in contact with the case while conical part is arranged coaxial with rotor conical part to produce clearance there between. Note that bottom is rigidly secured to reagent intake means. Cover outer surfaces and reagent intake means surface are provided, within the bounds of cover conical section, with flat welded jacket with its inner space communicated with heat carrier or coolant feed and discharge means. Stator cylinders are secured on cover bottom inner surface. Reaction product discharge means is made up of tube secured in cover horizontal section in contact with the case. Note here that tube intake section is fitted into rotor toroidal part while inlet section plane is located at 30-45 degrees to generator.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
