SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for conducting mass-exchange and reaction processes in single-phase and multi-phase media and can be used in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. The device contains a case with a block of parallel channels installed in it with a cross-section periodically changing along their axis, pipes for input of initial media and output of the product, a block for pre-mixing and distribution of initial media, a continuous feed unit, a pulse feed unit, a device for measuring instant and average feed and a controller connected to it, the output signal from which controls the parameters of the continuous feed unit and the pulse feed unit. The channels consist of repeating elements: a confuser, a neck, a diffuser, a wide part. In this case, the angle at the top of the confusers and diffusers lies in the range from 10º to 14º. The diameter of the neck is made in the range from 0.4 to 0.8 of the diameter of the wide part, and the length of the neck is made in the range from 1.5 to 2.5 of the diameter of the neck. The length of the wide part is made in the range from 0.5 to 1.5 of the diameter of the wide part.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of mass-exchange and reaction processes without changing the average stay time of reagents in the apparatus, as well as a reduction of energy costs.
