FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to processing of rocks and ores, particularly to crushing equipment. Proposed method comprises crushing ores by mechanical effects produced by working tool. Crushing-grinding is performed selectively by one or several flat sectors of working tool pressed against each other and fitted as-stacked to slide on damper. Said sectors are arranged to slide independently in one plane under dynamic effects brought about thereon by precious stones or unbreakable inclusions in ore material. For method implementation, jaw crushing-grinding tool is used made up of flat sectors as well as roll crushing-grinding tool made up of flat disc sectors. Stack of said sectors is shaped to mate roll or jaw shape.

EFFECT: (ruled out) reduced risk of damaging larger precious stones.
