FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Die assembly comprises die heaters, set of rider plates, stationary heat-insulation case with working opening and door gate for billet loading, and metal shield. Said working opening is arranged level with die closing joint. Metal shield is secured atop the die assembly. Die assembly is furnished with detachable heat-insulation casing fitted on stationary casing. Metal shield is furnished with heat insulation and moving gates arranged on shield bottom to be pressed to stationary casing with heat insulation. Door gate accommodates fan head.
EFFECT: reduced heat losses in heating closed dies, uniform heating.
