FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming. Proposed unit comprises top and bottom die holders, modules making heating zone, billet feed opening, door gate with fan, and coil resistance heaters. Said modules are provided with dual metal doors and heat insulation. Two modules of the bed are arranged on die holders using heat-insulation quick change inserts. Top and bottom modules are composed of closed circuits. Other modules have opening for quick-change door flap. Coil heaters are arranged in heat insulation slots of all modules apart from bed module and inclined toward insulation edges.
EFFECT: reduced heat losses, uniform heating.
