Proposed system 10 comprises device 11 to input data in said system, processor 12 receiving measured sizes 14 of rail wheel, memory 16 interacting with processor 18 that stores rail wheel straightening rules base, logic 20 used by said processor to access said base, and user graphic interface. Interactive graphic interface has wheel straightening window comprises wedge selection interactive section to allows user to select and reject wedge selection, and to display wheel straightening result in response to wedge selection. Proposed method serves to automatically output wheel straightening recommendations proceeding from wheel measurement results. Said wheel straightening window includes sections of losses caused by wheel machining. System 10 to output wheel straightening recommendations includes interactive graphical interface with its wheel straightening window including section of loses caused by first, second and third machining jobs.

EFFECT: proposed method serves to automatically output wheel straightening recommendations proceeding from wheel measurement results.
