Device enables a user to perform computation and display of two-dimensional segmentation of the object cross section shown in slice, and calculating and displaying three-dimensional segmentation of the object in a three-dimensional image, wherein the three-dimensional segmentation is based on previously calculated two-dimensional segmentation of the object.

EFFECT: technical result: providing opportunities to improve the segmentation of objects represented by the image of medical data.
